John J. Posada
John J. Posada, 70, of Sidney, OH died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday April 17, 2022 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, OH.
He was born February 10, 1952 in Fostoria, OH to Gregorio and Adela M. (Morales) Posada.
He is survived by son Johnny (Pamela) Posada of Jackson Center, OH, son Joe Mabry of New Orleans, LA, daughter Shawndel Rodriguez of Lima, OH, son Randy (Chelsea) Goodwin of Enon, OH, son Chris (Candace) Posada of St. Johns, OH, 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, brother Steve (Vicki) Posada of Celina, OH, brother Javier (Sue) Posada of Celina, OH. He was preceded in death by parents Gregorio and Adela Posada, infant son Billy Joe Goodwin, son Craig Posada, sister Guadalupe "Lupe" Posada, sister Rosi Miller; sister Leticia Sharpe and four other siblings.
He worked as a commercial truck driver for many years, a job which he truly enjoyed. His favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, cooking, shooting sports, watching old Westerns on television and sharing stories of times gone by. He also enjoyed listening to classic country & western and traditional Mexican music.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday April 28, 2022 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys, OH.
Visitation 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
