Beverly "Betsy" A. Houts, age 73, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her residence in Celina.

Survivors include three daughters, Tracy (Bryan) Klingshirn of Celina, Dawn (James) McBain of Columbus and Kelly McBride of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Makenna Klingshirn, Taylor Klingshirn, Amelia McBain, Ryan McBain, Coleman McBride and Kyla McBride; brothers and sister, Bob (Janet) Borgert of St. Henry, Denny (Joyce) Borgert of Wapakoneta, Diane (Mike) Link of St. Henry and Jim (Nancy) Borgert of Wapakoneta; brother-in-law, John (Roxanne) Houts of Celina; and sister-in-law, Patricia Balster of Celina.
Betsy is also preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Houts; grandson, Joshua Houts; father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Rita (Holtman) Houts; and her brother-in-law, Lavern Balster.
She was a 1967 graduate of St. Henry High School. She retired from Workflow One in Coldwater after 20 plus years of service. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina. Betsy was full of life; she had a positive outlook on life and was always the life of the party. She never knew a stranger, had a heart of gold and enjoyed being surrounded by her family and many friends. Sunday dinners at Betsy's was an important time where Betsy could spend time with her loving family and laugh for hours while enjoying everyone's company.
She was a jokester with a laugh that would fill the room and was contagious to all who were around her. Laughter continued when she would sing along to songs that came onto the radio and made her own version of karaoke for all to enjoy. Crafting, gardening, and shopping were all enjoyments of hers. However, family meant the world to Betsy; she was a positive force and will be deeply missed by her adoring family and countless friends. Her laughter and the boundless memories will last forever in all the hearts that she touched in many ways.
