Charlene Myers
Charlene Ann Myers, 69, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born on September 28, 1952, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Alfred Herman and Josephine Mary (Gorubec) Donaldson.
In addition to her parents, Alfred and Josephine Donaldson, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Edward Myers, whom she married on June 22, 1990, and passed away on May 25, 2017; and her daughter, Josephine Donaldson.
Charlene was a member of the Fort Recovery VFW, women's auxiliary. She enjoyed thrift store shopping, playing bingo, and planting flowers in her yard. Most importantly, Charlene enjoyed spending time with her sisters and family.
Charlene is survived by her sons, James Sparks and his wife Gina, of Illinois, Scott Myers and his wife, Brandy, of Fort Recovery, Ohio; her daughter, Tammy Roe of Illinois; her five grandchildren, David Roe, Crystal Roe, Michael Myers, Brandon Myers, and Nicholas Roe and one great granddaughter, Caroline Speigel; her brother, Alfred Donaldson; her three sisters, Eleanor Donaldson of Allegan, Michigan, Donna Carter and her husband, Jack of Franklin, Indiana, and Mary Hogshooter and her husband, Carmon of Dixon, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Spring Hill Cemetery in Fort Recovery, Ohio, with Pastor Tony Price officiating.
