Daniel Fisher
Daniel L. Fisher, 69, of St. Marys, OH died 5:30 a.m. Monday June 20, 2022 at his residence, with his loving family at his side.
He was born January 22, 1953 in Celina, OH to Darrel D. and Frankie J. (Engle) Fisher, who are deceased. Dan married Deborah K. Rhoades from Rockford, OH on August 12, 1973, and she passed away November 23, 1973.
Dan then married Candes E. Gross from St. Marys in November of 1985. She passed away July 14, 2006.
He is survived by: daughter Brenda (Matt) Schneider of New Knoxville, OH; daughter Deborah (Fred) Slade of Greenville, OH; daughter Karen (John) Lazarich of Celina, OH; son Paul Fisher of Hawaii; son Korey (Briana) Fisher of Lima, OH; step-son Kevin (Nan) Luedeke of St. Marys, OH; step-son Jason Luedeke of St. Marys, OH; 16 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren; brother Glenn (Linda) Fisher of Elida, OH; brother Dean (Wanda) Fisher of Michie, TN; sister Delilah (Jerry) Klosterman of St. Marys, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1971). Dan was the owner and operator of Auto Wrecking Service in St. Marys, which he purchased from his father in 1978. He was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys. He also held memberships in the American Legion Post #210, Moose Lodge #5713, VFW Post # 5713 and Eagles Lodge Aerie # 1291, all in Celina, OH. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and listening to country music. Above all, he was dedicated to the daily operations of his business.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday June 24, 2022 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Tim Benjamin, officiating. Burial will follow at the Buckland Cemetery in Buckland, OH.
Visitation 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
