* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

James Smith
James B. "Jim" Smith, 80, of Spencerville, passed away peacefully at 11:55 PM Thursday, June 23, 2022 in the Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, following an extended illness.
  He was born August 14, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio, a son of the late William Everett and Mary Katherine Gibson Smith.
  Jim is survived by his special friend, Susan Tidwell, and his nine children; Kathy (Marv) Armentrout of Lima, Lola (Tim) Ketcham of Meadville, PA., Carolyn (Roger) Krouskop of Spencerville, Bryan (Deanne) Harruff and Delores "Maggie" (Jerry Smith) Gile, both of Celina, Tiny (Jim) Williams of Spencerville, Rose (Gary) Stansberry of Rockford, Ruby (Scott White) Smith of Monroeville, IN. and Kristina (Rick) Waldron of Van Wert, 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his sister-in-law Carolyn Smith of Lima.
He was preceded in death by his brother John Smith and two grandchildren.
  He retired as a "buffer" at the former Reliable Buffing Company and had worked at the Schwartz Sawmill and the Trim Trends Corp, all of Spencerville.
Jim loved to be with his large family, fishing and gardening and watching old movies.
Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Tuesday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Jim Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Tomlinson Cemetery, Mercer-Van Wert Co. Line Road.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
