CELINA - Gery Thobe this week wrapped up a nearly 40-year career in law enforcement, one that saw the New Bremen native, husband and father hold many top positions with area police departments and the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
St. Henry grad Ryan Mikesell hit a free throw to hit the Elam Ending target number to lead the Red Scare into the semifinals of The Basketball Tournament with a 67-60 win over Best Virigina on Friday night at the University of Dayton Arena.
