At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Joan Greber
Joan May Greber, age 88, of Celina, passed away at 11:32 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Vancrest of St. Marys.
She was born May 21, 1934, in Celina, to Robert M. & Pauline M. (Mathews) Michaels.
Joan and Henry A. "Butch" Greber were married on October 12, 1952. He preceded her in death May 31, 1973.
Surviving are their children: Larry Greber, Sandy (Steve) Dorsten and Penny (Hop) Muter, all of Celina, a daughter-in-law, Patty Greber of Wake Forest, North Carolina, 6 grandchildren: Jason (Candice) Dorsten of Celina, Tammi (Mike) Dugger of Batavia, Amanda Muter (Joel Kiefer) of Celina, Nick Dorsten of Fairborn, and Josh Greber and Melissa Muter, both of Celina, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Kim Greber, a son and daughter-in-law, Doug (Cathy Winemiller) Greber, her sister and brother-in-law, Waneta (Edward) Schulte, and a great grandson, Karsyn Muter.
Joan was a homemaker, and had worked as a manager at the former Empire Restaurant, Celina Manor, and the Mercer County Council on Aging, all in Celina. Joan enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and growing flowers. Favorite vacation destinations were Gatlinburg and Myrtle Beach. She had fun shopping, going out to eat, hosting get-togethers, and listening to country music. Grandma Joan loved to attend the grandchildren's and great grandchildren's activities and sporting events.
Private Visitation for immediate family and friends will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Graveside Services to take place at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
