MINSTER - At a time when inflation continues to climb, councilors received a pleasant surprise Tuesday night when it was reported a bid for a water treatment plant equipment replacement came in at less than half of the estimated cost.
CELINA - Mercer County Commissioners on Tuesday morning approved the public defenders commission to proceed with the process of hiring a public defender for the county.
NEW BREMEN - The St. Marys volleyball team entered Tuesday's game having won four of five contests.
But trying to win at Cardinal Gymnasium is a whole different animal. Trying to beat New Bremen on any court is a challenge, for that matter.
