Susie Wagner
Susie (Borgert) Wagner, age 88 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born on January 11, 1934 in Maria Stein to the late Julius and Frances (Hartings) Borgert. On April 29, 1961 she married Edward "Eddie" Wagner, who survives living in Celina.
She is also survived by her son Terry (Mary) Wagner of Celina, her two daughters; Michelle (Chris) Conerby of Columbus and Connie (Dave) Waung of Draper, Utah. She has ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren surviving.
Susie was proceeded in death by parents, her brothers and sister-in-law Wally, Luke, Paul, Orville, Tom Borgert and her sisters Vera Sudhoff, Jeanette Kuhn, and Virginia Kleinhenz.
Susie graduated from St. John School and Marion Local High School with the Class of 1952. She was a waitress at Arnies Corner in Montezuma, for over forty plus years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and held membership with the Celina Eagles Grand Lake Arie #1291, Coldwater Eagles #3025, Celina American Legion Auxiliary Post #210, Celina Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Post #5713 and a member of the Celina Moose #1473 and was very active with the Women of the Moose in Celina. Susie always enjoyed a good walk around town or casting a line into Grand Lake. Her family and grandchildren always held a special place in her heart and she will be deeply missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday Oct. 13, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. John Tonkin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00a.m. -10:00a.m. on Thursday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
