Ganell Diegel Jr.
Ganell P. Diegel Jr. (Jinks) 74, died Saturday October 1, 2022, in Houston Texas, formerly of Mendon Ohio.
He was born September 8, 1948, to the late Ganell P. Diegel Sr. and Irma (Osborne) Diegel.
He is survived by his wife Deborah McElroy of Houston, Texas. Survived by his brother Reid (Deana) Diegel of Houston, Texas, Sisters Patty (Myron) Hartings of Mendon, Ohio, Hazel (Michael) Franklin of Ansonia, Ohio, Julie (Tim) Oechsle of St. Marys, Ohio, Diane Diegel of Wapakoneta, Ohio, many nieces and nephews. Also survived by 5 stepchildren William, Iva, Bobby, April and Danielle, 11 step grandchildren, and 7 great step grandchildren. Who will miss him greatly.
Proceeding him in death were his parents and brother Jim Diegel.
He attended the former Mendon Union School, and he served our county in the US. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at different machine shops, before retiring he was employed at FabCorp as a Tool and die design in Houston TX for 17 years. He enjoyed building and flying model planes, kayaking, woodworking, metal detecting, hunting and collecting Indian artifacts.
In keeping with his wishes, Jinks will be cremated.
There will be a celebration of life at the Mendon Library Annex on November 5, 2022, from 2:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M.
