Norma Wellman
Norma Jean Wellman, 88, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born on December 14, 1933, in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late Bert and Rose (Robbins) Vonderhyde.
Norma is survived by her children, Matt (Misty) Wellman of Bluffton, Indiana, and Pamela Timmerman of Fort Recovery; her grandchildren, Chase Wellman, Cierra (Kory) Stroud, Austin (Alexis) Timmerman, Paige Timmerman, Isaac Timmerman, and Ava Timmerman; her great grandchildren, Sutton, Max, and CJ; and her sister-in-law, Jenny (Dick) Alig of Coldwater.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jeff Timmerman; and her siblings, Edna Seigel, Mary Leugers, Irene Grisez, Leonard Vonderhyde, Dorothy Hole, Emma Hoelscher, Bert Vonderhyde, Richard Vonderhyde, Elsie Winner, and Kathryn Bergman.
Norma spent a majority of her life as a homemaker and her family was the most important thing to her. She valued every moment she was able to have with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norma was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and later in life attended Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, Ohio. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Per Norma's request, there will be no visitation prior to Mass.
