Marion rides early lead to season-opening win over Celina
CELINA - Defense and size paved the way for Marion Local in its season opener.
The Flyers stifled Celina in the first quarter, then added a spurt early in the fourth to pull away in a 45-25 boys basketball victory at the Fieldhouse on Saturday.
Coldwater hosted its first annual Cavalier Wrestling Invitational tournament on Saturday at the Palace, bringing in 23 teams from Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky for an individual format, as opposed to a duals format Coldwater hosts in January with the Sielski Duals.
