Jeanette Walls
Jeanette A Walls, 87 of Mendon, died at 10:43 pm. Jan. 16, 2023, with her family by her side at Wexner OSU Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born December 20. 1935, in New Weston, Ohio to the late Raymond and Matilda (Hoehne) Homan. On Nov. 10, 1956, she married Lowell E. (Gene) Walls.
She is survived by sons: Kevin & (Barb) Walls, Celina, Kerry & (Heidi) Walls, Mendon; and two daughters, Kelly & (Jeff) Lloyd, Venedocia, and Kathy & (Tom) Coon, Celina; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Siblings, Betty Jutte, Coldwater, Raymond (Carol) Homan, Anna, Dennis Homan, Florida, Linda (Preston) Boardwine, Cleveland. In-laws, Shirley Roediger, Celina, Carolyn Sue John, Van Wert. Don (Arlene) Walls, New Philadelphia, and Gary Walls, Rockford.
Deceased are a grandson, Aaron Coon; sisters, Evelyn & (Jerry) Moorman, Shirley & (Jim) Clark, Della Mae & (Vick) Rosenbeck, Leonard Jutte. In-laws - (Dewayne) & Donna Walls, (Lois) & Gayle Feasby, (Eleanor) & Verlin Feasby , (Dorothy) & Wilbert Stoll, (Alice) & Curtis Parnell, David Walls, Stan Roediger, Sharon Walls.
Jeanette retired from the Mercer County Courthouse. She cherished spending time with her family and loved living on the family farm. Her favorite past time was reading books, loved watching sports and the Hallmark Channel. She enjoyed cooking for her family and baking cookies!
Visitation hours will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Celina with Fr. John Tonkin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at the funeral home Friday morning. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church.
