Marilyn "Skeet" M. Hicks, 69, of St. Marys, OH died 4:00 a.m. Sunday February 5, 2023 at her residence.

She was born February 17, 1953 in Celina, OH to Jack and Carol (Presar) Powell. On February 21, 1970 at Friends Church in St. Marys, she married Marion Hicks, who survives.

Also survived by: daughter Dorothy "Dodi" (Robert) McCune of St. Marys, OH; Son Brett Hicks of St. Marys, OH; Son Joshua (Valerie) Coldwater, OH; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; Mother Carol Powell of St. Marys, OH; Sister Nancy (Rick) Lalonde of Sylva, NC; Brother George (Sharon) Powell of San Antonio, TX; Sister Roseanne Hale of Lima, OH; Sister Jackie Huecker of St. Marys, OH; Sister Carolyn (Roger) Zizelman of Celina, OH; Sister Susie (Mick) Eymer of St. Marys, OH; Sister Betty (Keith) Westerheide of Minster, OH; Brother Dan Powell of Rome City, IN; Brother James (Michelle) Powell of Wapakoneta, OH.

Preceded in death by: father Jack Powell; sister-in-law Pam Powell; brother-in-law Cheldon "Butch" Fetters; brother-in-law Edward Huecker.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, having worked at several area physician's offices and also provided home health care. Prior to that, she was employed by the Huffy Bicycle Mfg. Co. in Celina for 20 years. Her favorite pastimes included knitting and camping. More than anything else, she treasured the time spent with her family.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday February 9, 2023 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Pastor Eric Muhlenkamp will officiate the services.

Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
