Since entering the Coldwater lineup as a freshman, Rismiller has been a constant improver as she worked to become a dominating presence in the middle. Her scoring was even more impressive considering teams doubled- and sometimes tripled-teamed Rismiller on defense whenever she got the ball in the paint. Rismiller made teams pay for fouling her by knocking down 76.3% of her free throws as she went to the line 97 times during the regular season.
Rismiller became the the seventh Coldwater player to reach 1,000 career points and by the end of the season, passed her head coach Amy Meyer to rank second on the all-time scoring list with 1,307 points. A special mention All-Ohio selection as a junior, Rismiller had plenty of interest from NCAA schools before selecting the University of Dayton.
