* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Paul Forwerck
Paul A. Forwerck, 80, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima.
He was born February 10, 1943 in Celina to the late Glen and Emma (Harter) Forwerck.
On December 2, 2011 he married Kathy (Hilgefort) Forwerck and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include his children, Brett (Angie) Forwerck, Celina, Matt (Jeanine) Forwerck, Montezuma, Nick Forwerck, Columbus, Dr. Jason D. (Betsy) Springer, Wolverine, Michigan, Amanda E. Springer, Celina and Heather Sutter, Celina; two sisters, Kay Randolph, Celina and Jeanne Whitaker, St. Marys; his sister-in-law, Karen (Brad) Cheeseman, St. Marys; his mother-in-law, Betty Hilgefort, Montezuma; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Tom Risch and Mert Nottingham, both of Celina.
Paul is also preceded in death by a son, Justin Forwerck; a granddaughter, Destiny Sullivan; and his father-in-law, Ronald Hilgefort.
He was a 1963 graduate of Celina High School. He retired after working several factory jobs in the Celina area. He was a member of Calvary Christian Church in St. Marys.
Paul enjoyed woodworking, classic cars, staying up to date on technology and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Dr. Jason D. Springer officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Forwerck family.
