Jack Knapke

Marion Local

Center, 6-9, Junior

13.3 Points, 8.1 Rebounds, 60.2 FG%

Jack Knapke has been stellar in continuing the legacy of dominant big men for Marion Local. The 6-9 junior led the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game and pulled down 8.1 rebounds per contest as Marion won a second straight Midwest Athletic Conference title in spite of Knapke injuring his shoulder in a late season loss to Versailles, which caused him to miss the Flyers' title-clinching win over St. John's and an opening round tournament game.

Knapke shot over 60% from the field and blocked 14 shots in the regular season in earning first-team All-MAC and All-District honors.

With another year remaining in his high school career, the Flyers have one more chance with Knapke to bring home the program's fourth state title.
