CELINA - School board members this week agreed to keep a storm shelter in the design plans for a grade 7-12 school building even though it is no longer required by Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC).

NEW BREMEN - Village council members on Monday moved to accept $150,000 toward replacing the State Route 274 water line.
Councilors passed an emergency resolution to accept the Auglaize County Development Funds from county commissioners. The funds come through the American Rescue Plan Act.

Mercer County's unemployment rate registered at 2.5% last month, slightly lower than 2.6% in February, according to an Ohio Department of Job and Family Services news release.
