For areas south of I-70, southwesterly winds will be sustained between 20 to 25 MPH, with gusts up to 35 MPH possible this afternoon. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Use extra caution when driving this afternoon, especially if driving a high profile vehicle.

John Maurer
John A. Maurer, 74, Anna, died at 1:35 p.m. May 10, 2023, at Wilson Health System, Sidney.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. before services at the funeral home.
