* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Nathan Freeman
Nathan D. Freeman, 71, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Celina, Ohio, on Jan. 27, 1952, to Chester A. and Bernice M. (Gordon) Freemen. Nathan was a 1970 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He also served in the United States Army.
Nathan was employed and retired from MCI, SBC and AT&T for many years as a telecommunication technician. He also worked as a transporter for Taylor Cadillac for several years. Nathan was a member of the C.W.A., Toledo Area Street Rod Assoc., N.S.R.A., Tour-n-Tin and Good Guys Street Rod. He enjoyed playing softball in several East Toledo Leagues and at the East Toledo Family Center.
Surviving is his wife, Terry L. Noegel-Freeman; children, Curtis S., Crystal D. Holmes, Annemarie (Tom) Roberts, Julie A. (Jim) Kapotas, Jamie S. (Kevin) Campbell and John P. (Cyndi) Noegel; siblings, Calvin W. (Linda) Freeman and Denise A. (Kerry) Zuercher; also, 17grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Nathan was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH 43616 for viewing on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon. The Interment will be located at North Oregon Cemetery, 420 Otter Creek Road, Oregon, OH.
