Martha Thieman
Martha Mary Thieman, age 95, of St. Henry, died on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at The Gardens at St. Henry. She was born December 7, 1927, in Egypt, OH to the late John & Josephine (Hoying) Dahlinghaus.
  On October 9, 1954, she married Earl Thieman, and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2008.
Martha is survived by children: Ann Christine & Daniel Vian of Rockford, Ronald & Jennifer Thieman of Ft. Recovery, Nicholas Thieman of St. Henry, Joseph & Susan Thieman of New Bremen, Mark Thieman of St. Henry, Angela & Christopher Jutte of Coshocton, Constance & Kenneth Huelskamp of Ft. Recovery, and Kevin & Antoinette Theiman of Huntsville.
Also surviving Martha are 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as siblings and in-laws: Rosemary Poeppelman, Andy Dahlinghaus, Ralph & Anna Lee Dahlinghaus, Mary Ann Heckman, Mary Louise Dahlinghaus, Ted & Marilyn Thieman, Dan & Linda Thieman, Paul Evers, and Sally Thieman.
  In addition to her parents and husband, Martha is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Norbert Dahlinghaus, Esther & Jim Schwieterman, Dennis Dahlinghaus, Ed Poeppelman, Tom Heckman, Alvin Kemper, Tom & Mary Dahlinghaus, Rogene Evers, Clete Thieman, Barb & Bud Hoying, and Joann & John Dresher.
  Martha was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies' Sodality. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John in Maria Stein, and their drill team, as well as a member of the Maria Stein American Legion Auxiliary. She had worked at the former New Idea factory in Coldwater.
  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Burkettsville. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00pm on Monday, June 5, and from 9:00-10:00am on Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
