* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jean Ann Burden
Jean Ann 'Jeannie' Burden, age 74 of Celina, passed at 4:48 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her home with her children by her side.
She was born September 20, 1948 in Lima, Ohio to the late Charles and Carmen (Stiles) Bailey. On January 10, 1969 she married Tony J. Burden who passed June 15, 2020.
Jean Ann was a school bus driver for 15 years with the Shawnee School System and later drove transport for Otterbein-Cridersville Retirement Community. She was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge in Celina with her husband. Jean graduated from Allen East High School. Her greatest joy and treasure was her family, whom she loved to spend time with. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, wanting to help others, and her love of people.
She is survived by 3 children - Laura M. (Steve) Meyer of Spencerville; Bridget J. (Brian) Moots of Belle Center; Keith A. Burden of Celina; 5 grandchildren - Ashlyn Smelcer, Emilee Goecke, Jacob Meyer, Jason Moots, Nelaya Burden; and a great grandchild due in August; 2 sisters - Janet (Don) Imel of Indiana, Jackie Meeker of Harrod; a mother-in-law - Anita Zippo Burden of Lima; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister - Joyce Ford and a brother-in-law - Jerry Meeker.
No public services are planned.
