Arthur Hermiller
Arthur R. Hermiller, age 91, of Coldwater died on Monday, July 3 at his home in Coldwater.
He was born on August 17, 1931 in Glandorf to the late John & Mary (Rosenbauer) Hermiller. He first married Alice (Fenbert) Hermiller and after 36 years of marriage she preceded him in death in 1990. Then, on September 12, 1993 in Burkettsville he married Veronica 'Roni' (Siefring) Hermiller and she survives him in Coldwater.
Art is survived by his children, Joyce & Dale Holdgreve of Delphos, Mike & Anne Hermiller of Toledo, Gerald & Annalisa Hermiller of Findlay, Dan & Melanie Hermiller of Kalida, Gregory & Stacey Hermiller of Delphos, Beverly & Brian Berheide of Kalida, and Dale & Tammy Hermiller of Grand Rapids, Michigan; step-children, Sue & Tim Brown of Burkettsville, Dan & Sherrie Siefring of Illinois, Fred & Mary Jean Siefring of St. Henry, Ted Siefring of New Weston, Neal & Elaine Siefring of New Weston, Steve & Susan Siefring of Marysville, Brian & Sandy Siefring of Coldwater, Aaron & Kris Siefring of New Weston, and Jay & Angie Siefring of Galena. He is also survived 19 grandchildren, 24 step-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Art is also survived by siblings and in-laws, Florence Schroeder, Lou Ann Hermiller, Lavern and Marge Hermiller, Cleo Leibrecht, Margaret Schimmoeller, Bertha Hermiller, John & Mary Ann Hermiller, Donna Utrup, Sr. Gemma Fenbert, Rita Schmitz, Gene Ellerbrock, Lorretta Link, Annie Hemmelgarn, Bernard & Irene Berning, and Francis Siefring.
Art was preceded in death by a grandchild Amanda Holdgreve and a step-son Terry Siefring; siblings and in-laws, Wilfred & Ruth Hermiller, Richard Hermiller, Thad Schroeder, Delores Hermiller, Doris Leibrecht, Art & Delores Schimmoeller, Harold Hermiller, Mary Ann Hermiller, Joyce Hermiller, Ken Schimmoeller, Felix Fenbert, Henry & Genevieve Rosengarten, Carl Hermiller, Dennis(Bing) Hermiller, Adrian Utrup, Dan Schmitz, Edna Ellerbrock, Butch Link, Art Hemmelgarn, Kenneth Siefring, Helen & Tom Fullenkamp, Art & Kate Reynolds, and Marie & Vince Huelsman
Art was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. He was retired from Federal Mogul in Van Wert. Art was a member of the Ft. Jennings American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, former president of the Ohio Polka Boosters, and president of the bad dad jokes club.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will take place at 4:00 PM Friday, July 7, 2023 at St. Mary Cemetery in Ottoville, Ohio.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, July 6, and from 9 to 10 AM on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
