Marvin Muhlenkamp
Marvin H. "Butzy" Muhlenkamp, 78, of Bryant, IN, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
He was born on Thursday, December 28, 1944, in St Anthony, OH.
Marvin was a graduate of Coldwater High School. He served his country in the Army National Guard in Portland, IN. He was an electrician for New Idea in Coldwater and for Payson Electric in Celina. Marvin had been a Jay County farmer. He enjoyed visiting at the Bryant Truck Stop. Marvin was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bryant. Butzy Muhlenkamp had a heart of gold. Those who knew him called him Butzy. This was the nickname given to him at a very young age. He was a great brother, and uncle, and he was always wanting to help his family. He was a very loving uncle and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Butzy made sure to attend every single family event at least 2 hours early. He was so proud of his family and was always the biggest supporter of the ones he loved.
He always kept any picture, drawing, or knick-knack he acquired. He loved reminiscing over a pot of hot coffee with his family and talking about life. No one was a stranger to Butzy, he could talk to just about anyone. Butzy was very passionate about his farming, and he spent a lot of days with his nephew out in the fields. After a long day, he would go to the truck stop for some good food and to chat with his friends. If you couldn't find him on the farm, you could find him at the truck stop. Loving his family was the thing that brought him the most joy in life. He will be missed by all, and his memories will continue to live on with us.
Loving Survivors included his brother - Daniel (wife Janice) Muhlenkamp, Celina, OH, and numerous nieces & nephews.
