Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

William Maze
William "Bill" Maze, 57, of St. Marys, was found deceased on Monday, August 13, 2023, at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1966, in Lima, Ohio, the son of James and Muriel (Bensman) Maze.
He is survived by his former wife, Paula; by his girls: Brittany, Kristin and Taylor; by his siblings: Julia Maze of St. Marys; Mike (Carol) Maze of Bellefontaine; Mary (Wayne) Cooper of Tempe, Arizona; Thomas (Teresa) Maze of St. Marys; John (Terri) Maze of St. Marys; Carol (Dave) Lengerich of St. Marys; James (Cheryl) Maze of St. Marys. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Nicholas Maze.
Bill was a 1984 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served on a nuclear submarine. He was employed at Continental in St. Marys. Bill was a great cook and baker. He was well known for his pies. He enjoyed fishing, cheering on the OSU Buckeyes, the Browns and the Reds. He was a member of the Celina Moose; St. Marys Eagles and VFW Post 9289. He was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, Fr. Prasanth, celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St. Marys, and also from 9:00-10:15 on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and condolences may be sent to Bill's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
