Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Gabe Hoskins
Gabe Hoskins Jr., 81 of Celina, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Wayne Hospital in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born July 7, 1942 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Gabe Sr. and Georgia Anna (Cox) Hoskins. On December 25, 1980 he married Joann "Cookie" (Clay) Hoskins and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2010.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Hoskins, Florida; a brother, Henry (Shirley) Hoskins, Celina; and a sister, Irene (Fred) Welch, Tennessee.
Gabe was also preceded in death by three brothers, Martin, Jim and Rob Hoskins; a sister, Geraldine Miracle; and twin sisters that died in infancy.
Gabe proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he was stationed on the USS Hector. He retired from Huffy Bicycle in Celina after many years of service. He was a member of Celina American Legion Post #210.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the Hoskins family.
