Gary E. Heitkamp, 77 Youngstown, Ohio, died Saturday, August 12, 2023, at St Marys Windsor House, Columbiana, Ohio.

He was born August 12, 1946, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Alphonse and Edna (Nieberding) Heitkamp. He married Rosemary Julian on June 24, 1978, and she survives in Youngstown.

He is also survived by daughter, Stacey Neric; sister, Pat Schmidt, brothers, Larry and Lil Heitkamp, Dennis Heitkamp, and Dave Heitkamp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kimberly, son-in-law, Nikolas Neric, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lewis and Elaine Speece.

Gary was a 1965 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a 1976 graduate of Youngstown State University. He served four years in the Air Force. He worked as an accountant for Gateways To Better Living.

Private family rites were held Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Rossi Brothers Funeral Home, Youngstown, Ohio.
