"Even at a young age at New Knoxville High School, I held leadership positions and enjoyed community service," she said.
Clark noted she also held leadership roles in college.
"Education has always been something that has interested me," Clark said when asked why she's seeking another term. "I have learned so much during my previous two years on the New Knoxville school board. I have enjoyed working with the other board members, the superintendent and treasurer at New Knoxville school and I am looking forward to serving another full term."
Clark said she doesn't have any plans to initiate new policies or projects.
"I think right now the school is in a good place. We just received a five-star rating," she said.

A New Knoxville High School graduate, Hoge earned a bachelor's degree in business operations management from Ohio State University.

Asked what experience he has that qualifies him to serve on the school board, Hoge cited his professional experience.
"My background is management, so I have 21 years of experience building and leading teams in a work setting," he said. "I also have a strong financial background at work, and I have served on the budget committee at church, and I serve on the finance committee at the school."
Hoge said he's seeking another term to "serve and give back to the community in which I was raised."
"We have a really great community school here, so we have a lot going for us in New Knoxville," he said. "We want to maintain that so the children of New Knoxville have the same opportunities I had growing up here. We received pretty much a perfect score, a five-star rating from the state of Ohio. We want to continue that success from an education standpoint."
Hoge commended the support the district has received from booster groups and the community.
Jurosic, 48, is seeking public office for the first time.

"I have held several positions at the hospital and I have been on several committees and chaired several committees," Jurosic said when asked what experience she has that qualifies her to serve on the school board. "I think that has helped me grow and learn more about being on a professional board."
Jurosic said she has lived all her life in New Knoxville and feels it's time to give back by serving on the school board.
"I feel the school has given at lot to me and my family, so it was time for me to start to help the school. I am very excited to be able to serve the school and give back to the community of New Knoxville," she said.
She said the school board has a done a good job.
"I just want to keep up that momentum," she said. "I would like to see more children come to our school and also to make it more interesting to come to New Knoxville. I feel like we have really good teachers at New Knoxville, and I really want to make sure that is well known."
