A replica 1918 German biplane made a precautionary landing in a harvested soybean field in the 8100 block of Mercer-Auglaize County Line Road, Celina, on Tuesday morning. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrived on scene but did not take a report because the biplane had not crashed. The pilot declined to identify himself to the newspaper. He also would not say where he had taken off from or where he was heading.
