Laneta Koetter
Laneta V. Koetter, 81, of St. Marys, OH died 11:03 a.m. Monday October 30, 2023 at Heritage Manor in Minster, OH.
She was born March 5, 1942 in Auglaize Co., OH to Kermit V. and Edna V. (Scheblo) Freewalt.
Survivors include: son Allen Koetter of St. Marys, OH, daughter Paula (Mike) Winget of Somerset, KY, daughter Kathy Schmehl of St. Marys, OH, son Christopher Koetter of St. Marys, OH, son Michael Koetter of Newark, CA; grandchildren: Abigail Kesler, Andrew Earhart, Rachael Abbott, Joshua Schmehl, Dustin Schmehl, sister Luella Tobin of St. Marys, OH, sister Marlene Knous of St. Marys, OH, brother Kermit (Barb) Freewalt of Minster, OH, sister Linda Dodson of St. Marys, OH, brother Larry Joe Freewalt of St. Marys, OH, brother-in-law Lloyd Knous of Decatur, IN.
Preceded in death by: parents Kermit and Edna Freewalt, infant son Joseph Anthony Koetter; sister Patricia Knous; former husband Edward Koetter
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1960).
She was a homemaker. Her favorite pastimes included reading and flower gardening.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 3, 2023 at Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Deacon Martin Brown will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Glynwood, OH.
Visitation 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
