Grace Ballinger
Grace L. Ballinger, 95 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Nov. 25, 2023 at the Trustwell Living at Miller Place Nursing Home in Celina.
She was born on February 28, 1928 in Rockford, Ohio, to the late Clyde and Zella (Pond) Rutledge. On September 22, 1951 she married J. William "Bill" Ballinger. They were together for 70 wonderful years. She and Bill lived in Texas and Louisiana the first few years while Bill was in the service.
Grace is also survived by a son Douglas (Nancy) Ballinger and a daughter Linda Harner of Celina. She leaves behind eight loving grandchildren, Brian Ballinger, Susan Gray, Aaron Ballinger, Nathan Hans, Kyle Ballinger, Jonathan Ballinger, Collin Schmidt, Alysha Ford and six great grandchildren Makaela Coutee, James Gray Jr., Annsley Ballinger, Jace Ballinger, Dale Ford Jr., Rylie Ford, and two great-great grandchild Maddox and Phoenix. She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, a daughter Sue Ann Ballinger, a son-in-law Rick Harner, grandson Kayden Coutee, brother-in-law Robert (Marilyn) Ballinger and her siblings Dorothy, Arthur, Keith, Phyllis, Ruth and Gene.
She graduated from Rockford High School. Rockford, Ohio. She worked at Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina where she met her husband. She was a stay at home Mom and cared for her daughter Sue Ann and loved traveling in their motor home to different states with their daughters and grandchildren. In her later years her favorite vacation spot was Hawaii. Grace was an Avid Ohio State Football Fan. She loved her dog Gordy. Grace was a member of the New Horizons Church of Rockford, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Ken Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
A visitation for friends and Family will be held an hour before services at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
