During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Donald Wilson Sr.
Donald A. Wilson, Sr., 83, of Celina, OH died 10:00 a.m. Monday November 20, 2023 at his residence.
He was born July 23, 1940 in Miami Co., OH to Glenn Othal and Belva Elaine (Beam) Wilson, both of whom preceded him in death. He was first married to Nancy L. Nellis, who died March 15, 2004. Later, he married Jan L. Nichols, who survives.
Also survived by: son Donald A. (Erin) Wilson, Jr. of Springboro, OH; son Gregory M. (Jill) Wilson of Canton, MI; daughter Sandra L. (Matthew) Hill of West Chester, OH; 5 grandchildren: Madison (Justin) Merriman, Sierra Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Taylor Hill, Isabella Hill; 2 great-grandchildren: Peter Merriman, Theodore Merriman; sister Judy Beachler of Oviedo, FL.
He was a graduate of University of Cincinnati (Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering) and Xavier University (Master's Degree in Business Administration). Mr. Wilson retired from General Electric Aircraft Engines Plant in Evendale, OH, where he held management positions in the engineering department. Following his retirement, he occupied his time with researching and trading various stocks. Prior to the COVID pandemic, he had been an active member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Celina. An avid sports fan, he coached his children's ball teams when they were younger. More than anything else, he treasured the many wonderful memories created with his family members at their home on Grand Lake St. Marys. Donald was an Eagle Scout and had earned his God and Country Award. He loved God, country and his family.
Private family services will be held. Burial will follow at the Brookside Cemetery in West Chester, OH
