Kenneth Knapke
Kenneth Robert Knapke, 41, of Dunwoody, Georgia died peacefully in his home on Friday December 22, 2023.
He was born in Atlanta in 1982, the son of Bruce and Vicki of Glenville, Pa.
Along with his parents, he is also survived by his grandparents, Richard and Joshuean of Carnesville, GA, siblings and in-laws: Kelly (Knapke) and Matt Lurz of York, PA, Kevin Knapke of Glenville, Kara (Knapke) and Paul Tamburello of Eldersburg, Md, Kimberly (Knapke) and Anthony Conturo of Dover, Pa., Kaylyn (Knapke) and Eric Grove of York, Pa, Kyle Knapke of Glenville and his Fiancée Dawn Schlenbaker, Kurtis Knapke of Voorhees, Nj., Seven Nieces and Nephews who adored Uncle Kenny: Olivia and Alex Lurz, Henry Klayman Knapke, Mellie and Myla Grove, and Cameron and Piper Tamburello. Kenny is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts, Idaho, and Georgia including Graeme and Holly Hefner (Dunwoody), Peter and Joy Rosconi (Marietta) and his two beloved cats Lilly and Slick.
Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert Knapke, Josie Knapke and Mary Jane Knapke.
Kenny was a 2001 Graduate of Susquehannock High School in Glen Rock, Pa and a 2005 graduate from Penn State University in Computer Science. He was brilliant with computers, software, math, and science. He loved to play games; online, offline, and outdoors. He was a very good disc golfer, and a Tetris master. Kenny was gifted, funny and kind. Kenny will truly live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA.
Another viewing will be held on Thursday, January 4 from 11:00am until a Funeral Mass begins at 12:00pm at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Fr. Mark Wilke will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to the American Heart Association, 4250 Crums Mill Road, Lancaster, PA 17112.
