* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Eugene Weitzel
Eugene Weitzel, age 73, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on January 17, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born July 15, 1950, in Coldwater to the late Lawernce and Marie (Timmerman) Weitzel.
Survivors include four sons, Doug Weitzel, Van Wert; Dusty (Becky) Weitzel, Celina; Dan (Brandy) Weitzel, Rockford; and David (Jennifer) Weitzel, Celina; his first wife, Candy (Richard) Ford, Celina; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; and four sisters, Nancy Weiler, Celina; Connie Sparklin, Coldwater; Susie (Gary) Norris, Ohio City; and Linda (Joe) Zumwald, Maria Stein.
He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Peggy A. (Littleton) Weitzel on December 26, 2019.
Eugene was a 1968 graduate of St. Henry High School. He worked for many years selling cars at local car dealerships and most recently retired after owning and operating Family RV Rentals in Whiteland, Ind.
Memorial services will begin at noon on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the services at the funeral home.
