Chloe Homan
New Bremen
6-0 senior guard/forward
12.3 PPG, 8.9 Rebounds, 2.2 Assists, 1.8 Steals
In addition to strong defense inside, Homan was the engine of the Cardinals' offense this year, accounting for over a third of their points as they averaged 36 per game. She shot 49.7% from the field and 80.5% from the free throw line, and she recorded double-digit points in 19 out of her 24 games, including a 21-point effort against Russia and a 22-point showing against Spencerville to open the Division IV tournament.
She averaged 16 points in the tournament before New Bremen bowed out against Minster in the district semifinals.
"She's had a heckuva game in all three games of our tournament, not just statistically," Cardinals coach Andy Timmerman said after the loss to Minster. "She makes a big difference inside in that 2-3 zone, gives people trouble, contests those shots and makes it difficult for teams to get inside the lane and create anything.
"She's had a heckuva season, and she's worked hard to get it."
