At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Michael Bruns
Michael "Mike" D. Bruns, age 73, of Celina, Ohio passed away on March 31, 2024 at Trustwell Living at Miller Place in Celina.
He was born June 21, 1950 in Celina to the late Ferd and Viola (Berning) Bruns. He married Rita (Walkowski) Bruns and she preceded him in death on October 13, 2015.
He is survived by his children, Melissa Bruns, North Carolina; and Megan Klosterman, Coldwater; three grandchildren; and his siblings, Thelma Grilliot, Florida; Bob (Martha) Bruns, Rockford; Clara Beougher, Celina; Millie Donovan, Coldwater; Vickie Giere, Celina; and Tom Bruns, Lima.
Mike was also preceded in death by six sisters, Darlene Thees, Helen Pearson, Ruthann McMahan, Wilma Quellhorst, Martha Young and Marie Hornberger; and three brothers, Don, Bill and John Bruns.
Mike proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He retired after working for 40 plus years as a truck driver. He was a member of Celina American Legion Post #210 and Celina VFW Post #5713.
A gathering of family and friends and a celebration of Mike's life will he held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 4- 7: p.m. at Celina American Legion, 2510 State Route 703, Celina, Ohio 45822. Private graveside services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at the convenience of the Bruns family.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 S Main St, Celina, Ohio 45822.
