Connie was an avid reader who was always reading a book from the library or updating her list with all of the books she had yet to read. She loved to garden and planting her flowers was a spring ritual she looked forward to all winter. Connie truly loved the ocean and she and Ron traveled frequently to Florida or the Carolinas. She was a wonderful cook and was always researching recipes looking for her next great dish. Most of all, Connie loved to spend time with her family and friends enjoying good food and drink and making memories.
She was a member of the Celina Eagles and Mercer County Democrats.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina. The family requests that you dress casually for Connie's celebration. Light refreshments will be served.
