Martha Trobridge
Martha Ann (Evers) Trobridge, 61, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away after a courageous fight with cancer on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.
She was born on April 19, 1963, in Portland, Ind., to Mrs. Mary (Voshkul) Evers of Fort Recovery and the late Melvin Evers.
In addition to her mother, Martha is survived by her husband of 37 years, Scott Trobridge, whom she married on November 8, 1986; her children, Steven (Lindsay) Trobridge of Union City, Ind.; Michael (Rebecca) Trobridge of Union City, Ind.; and David Trobridge of Fort Recovery; her three grandchildren, Austin, Noah, and Maxx; her siblings Mike (Mary) Evers of Fort Recovery; Marilyn (Ernie) Wendel of St. Henry, Ohio; Marvin Evers of Fort Recovery; Martin (Heather) Evers of Fort Recovery; Madonna Evers of Glasgow, Ky.; Mary Agnes (Chris) Moorman of St. Henry; and Margaret "Peg" (Gary) Lange of New Bremen, Ohio; and her sister-in-law, Judy Evers.
In addition to her father, Martha was preceded in death by her brother, Marion Evers.
Martha was a 1981 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She worked for GTI in Greenville for over 25 years and for Gels IGA in St. Henry. Martha was a selfless person. She always put others before herself. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Martha enjoyed being with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports.
A celebration of Martha's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Burial will follow in Salamonia Cemetery.
Guests may visit with Martha's family on Monday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
