Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Carolyn Osborn
Carolyn K. Osborn, age 68, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away on April 29, 2024 at Van Wert Hospital.
She was born April 22, 1956 in Celina to the late Claude and Irene (Vorhees) Goodpastor. On April 6, 2011 she married Merrill J. "Doc" Osborn, D.O.D. and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2015.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Jennifer K. Shinn, Rockford and Christopher M. (Candy Vogan) Shinn, Rockford; two sisters, Jan (Andy) Doenges, New Bremen and Barb (John) Valentine, New Bremen; and six grandchildren, Zachariah, Braden, Presley, Eboney, Abbagail and Avah.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda S. "Mindi" Shinn.
She was a 1974 graduate of Celina High School. She was proud to be a homemaker, giving her the opportunity to raise three wonderful children. Carolyn was a very giving person with a big heart, she never knew a stranger and loved meeting new people. Most of all, she loved her family and will be deeply missed by all. She attended Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert.
Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Tim Benjamin.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will be held at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
