Richard Finke
Richard "Ryan" Finke, age 56, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born July 8, 1967 in Muncie, Indiana to Richard and Ruth (Jamison) Finke.
He is survived by his children, Emily (Steven) Shelby, New Knoxville; Eric (Katie) Dicke, Wapakoneta; Austin (Casey) Dicke, Miamisburg; Tyler Finke, Fort Recovery; Ethan Finke, Celina; and Courtney Finke, St. Marys; his father, Richard "Dick" Finke, St. Marys; a brother, Ross (Kelli) Finke, Celina; and seven grandchildren, Hunter, Holden, Louise, Lilly, Rhonan, Millie and Leni.
Ryan was also preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Jamison) Finke.
He was a 1986 graduate of Celina High School and also received his associate degree from Northwestern Business College in Lima. After graduating college, he worked at Reineke-Mitchell Ford in Celina as a mechanic and went on to work and retire from Honda in Anna after 28 years of service. After retirement he moved to Arizona and worked at Southwest Specialty Food Inc. for several years until returning back to the St. Marys area to be with family and he most recently worked at NAPA Auto Parts in Celina. Ryan enjoyed woodworking, doing yard work, car detailing, sitting on the front porch, boating on Grand Lake, napping and spending time with his family. He was a life member of the Celina Moose Lodge.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County in honor of Ryan's mom Ruth who passed away of brain cancer, 218 S Main St, Celina, Ohio 45822.
