Owner says city has been supportive

CELINA - For Brian Whiting, opening a used bookstore started a new chapter in his life.
In a completely hypothetical series of events, Whiting, 39, owns The Druid's Library, a cozy, hidden gem, nestled on West Market Street in Celina. On a whim, Whiting decided to rent an office space inside the Marketplace and stock it with 100-200 used books. [More]

Eight-run fourth inning lifts St. Henry to tournament victory

ST. HENRY - Star Wars Day (May 4) might have been this past Saturday, but on May 6, the fourth was strong for St. Henry.
The Redskins plated eight runs in the inning to break a scoreless tie and won their Division IV softball tournament opener over Waynesfield Goshen 10-0 in six innings at the Wally Post Athletic Complex on Monday. [More]

Annual Zuma Days moved to September
MONTEZUMA - Due to volunteering issues, Zuma Days activities are canceled for June.
However, the Zuma Days 5K will still be held on the morning of June 15 and organizers will hold Zuma Days on a smaller scale in September.

FORT RECOVERY - Village councilors on Monday unanimously awarded a bid of $2,442,700 to Caldwell Tanks, Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky for the construction of a second water tower to handle an increase in daily water consumption.
Celina man charged with drug possession
CELINA- A Celina man was charged with drug possession on Friday in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
David M. Swain, 34, was appeared in court on an aggravated possession of drugs charge, a fifth-degree felony.
