At 1021 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Wapakoneta to near Greenville, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Troy, Sidney, Piqua, Bellefontaine, Greenville, Wapakoneta, Minster, Versailles, Covington, St. Paris, Newport, Bradford, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff, Botkins, Lakeview, and Waynesfield.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 76 and 113.

Robert Ahrens
Robert J. (Bob) Ahrens, age 99 of Belmont, CA, passed away peacefully May 2, 2024 at his residence in Belmont.
He was born July 5, 1924 in Osgood, Ohio to the late Edward & Pauline (Zimmerman) Ahrens. He married Opal Virginia (Ginny) Mabe, May 4, 1946 and she preceded him in death April 12, 2009. They were married for almost 63 years.
He is survived by two of his five children: Robert (Bobby) & Jean Ahrens Amboy, Wash.; and Christena (Tena) & Roland Courchaine Redwood City, Calif.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sons James (Jimmy) & Thomas (Tommy) and daughter Merilou as well as siblings & in-laws: Velma (Al) Davis, Ervin (Verlina) Ahrens, Mary Evelyn (Jerry) Smith and Irma (Leo) Wendeln.
Bob graduated from St. Johns High School in Maria Stein, Ohio. Following graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to 1946. He flew various aircrafts including the B-24. Following service, he joined United Airlines in Los Angeles. He received his commercial pilot certification in 1951 & flew aircrafts for them. After many years with United, he was their service area operation manager at San Francisco International Airport until he retired at the age of 60.
Bob was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Belmont, Calif., where he volunteered for over 30 years as well as serving over 65,000 lunches for the church. Bob & Ginny enjoyed traveling the world and collecting passport stamps. He also had a love for photography. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His stories, wisdom and warmth of his company will be deeply missed by all his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial to honor Bob's life will be held on May 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1040 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, Calif.
