Eileen Weber
Eileen M Weber, age 91, of Coldwater, died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. She was born December 20, 1932, in Landeck, Ohio to the late Ralph & Loretta (Hotz) Freund. On August 28, 1954, she married Eugene Weber, and he preceded her in death in 2001.
She is survived by children, Mike Weber & Amy Patterson of Akron, Maria Lee of Ft. Wayne, Karen & Joseph Meyer of Marion, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Weber, twelve grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and in-laws, Don Weber, Art & Connie Weber, Leonard & Margie Weber, Bettie Weber, Larry & Fran Weber, Fr. Herbert Weber, Sr. Helen Weber CPPS, Roger Geise, Judy & Vern Fischer, Dolores Spieles, and Frank Fuchs.
She was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Weber, son-in-law, Kenneth Lee, and in-laws, Audrey Weber, Kenneth Weber, Mildred & Mike Rahrig, Celeste Geise, Jim Spieles, and Lucille Fuchs.
Mrs. Weber was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, former president of the St. Ann's Altar Sodality, Eucharistic Minister, and former president of the Parish Council. Eileen was also a member of the Adult Mixed Choir, Resurrection Choir and a Cantor.
She was a private piano teacher for many years in Coldwater. Eileen was very active in the Ohio Music Teachers Association and held positions in both the district and state offices. She was former president of the VFW Auxiliary in Coldwater and alongside her husband, served as president of the National Marriage Encounter in Maria Stein.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
