* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Rempe
Thomas Harry Rempe, 85, of St. Marys, OH died 9:54 a.m. Friday June 7, 2024 at Otterbein - St. Marys.
He was born February 7, 1939 in New Bremen, OH to Harry William and Anna Wilhelmina (Klosterman) Rempe. On December 23, 1960 in Decatur, IN he married Gloria J. Dickerson, who died March 9, 2024.
Survivors include: daughter Janean (Jim) Reish of Clarendon, TX; son Randy (Brenda) Rempe of St. Marys, OH; 4 grandchildren: Angie Reish, David Reish, Erin Rempe, Ethan Rempe; 6 great-grandchildren; and Sister Linda (Robert) McDermitt of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Harry and Anna Rempe; wife Gloria Rempe; granddaughter Emily Kaye Rempe; sister Marie Hobrock; brother Robert Rempe; sister Dorothy Delzeith; sister Ruth Rush; brother Paul Rempe; sister Esther Huebner; and brother James Rempe.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army. A skilled tradesman, he retired as a tool & die maker for the Huffy Bicycle Mfg. Co. in Celina, OH. His favorite pastimes included remodeling homes and spending time with his family.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 18, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Grand lake Hospice.
