Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Twyla Gehm
Twyla Gehm passed away at the age of 81 on June 28, 2024, at 2:20 am at Divine Shane Hill in Rockford with her family by her side. Twyla was born on September 18, 1942, in Celina to the late Nick & Ruby Priddy.
On October 29, 1961, Twyla married Dean "Buck" Gehm, he preceded her in death on January 4, 2004. Together, they had two loving children, Todd (Cindy) Gehm of Celina and Crystal (Doug) Severt of Rockford. Twyla adored her grandchildren, Alyssa (Brad) Joseph of Rockford, Gina (Robby) Caird of Greenfield, Indiana, and Amanda Gehm of Celina; as well as her six great-grandchildren, Adrienne & Brittyn Joseph, Emersyn, Addison & Boston Caird, and Zander Gehm. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Butch Gehm of Rockford and sisters-in-law Linda Endicott of Celina and Judy Evans of Rockford.
Twyla was preceded in death by her parents, Nick & Ruby Priddy; husband, Buck Gehm; and siblings, Rolland Priddy and Marvin Priddy.
Twyla graduated from Willshire High School in 1960. She then attended the Fort Wayne Beauty Academy and worked for forty-plus years as a hairdresser in local beauty salons.
Twyla was very actively involved and enjoyed staying busy. She was a member of St. Paul's Country Church in which she was a Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher, and on the Board of Christian Education. She was also a member of the Chatt Farmer's Picnic, actively involved with the bloodmobile, the election board, and the Willshire Homemakers Club.
Staying busy and being involved was not only an interest of Twyla's, but what she was known for. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, painting, rooting for the Cincinnati Reds, watching NASCAR, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and spending time outside gardening, working around her house and completing yard work. Most importantly, Twyla enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Country Church on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10:00 am with Pastor Mike Husted officiating; visitation at the Church will be held from 9:00 am - 10:00 am, before the service.
Interment will follow at St. Paul's Country Church Cemetery in Rockford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Country Church and/or EverHeart Hospice.
