Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Gail Berning
Gail L. Berning, age 55 of Minster, Ohio, died on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at her home in Minster.
She was born on April 20, 1969 in St. Marys to the late Thomas & Erma (Riethman) Barlage. On June 19, 1993 she married Chad Berning in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster and he survives in Minster.     She is also survived by son Matthew Berning, at home, siblings: Linda & Rip Van Winkle, Newport, Roger & Cheryl Barlage, New Bremen, Joyce & Terry Mumaw, Newport, Russ & Tina Barlage, Troy, Anita & Vern Kremer, Chickasaw, in-laws Larry & Janet Berning, brother-in-law: Ross Berning, Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by her parents & sister & brother-in-law Ellen & Alan Ashbrook.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, worked for Mel's decorating for 30 years and was an avid bowler. She loved to take beach vacations and spending time with family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. Burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 3 to 7 PM and on Tuesday, July 16 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
