Ken Knapke
Ken Joseph Knapke, age 56 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Gardens of Celina.
He was born on January 3, 1968 in Coldwater to the late John W. and Lou Ann (Wendel) Knapke who survives in Celina. He is also survived by his siblings Steve (Deb) Knapke of Rockford, Sheryl (Scott) Braun of Celina, Tracie (Tom) Huff of Coldwater, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several special friends.
Ken graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1986. Ken was formerly employed at Van Tilburg Farms, Precision Strip, and a delivery man for Pepsi. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, the Lima Moose Lodge #199, Celina Eagles, and a life member of the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713.
He was an avid card player, enjoyed watching sports, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Prashanth Bandanadham officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Memory Gardens.
Friends and family may call from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 26, 2024 and 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. on Saturday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home. The Knapke family invites all those who attend to dress casually in honor of Ken.
