* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Shirley Farrell
Shirley Marie Farrell, 88, of West Lafayette, formerly of Dunnington, died Wednesday, August 21, 2024; after an extended illness. She was born December 8, 1935, in rural Fowler, to the late Bernard & Josephine (Happ) Wetli.
She was a 1953 graduate of Ambia High School. She married James D. Farrell, June 29, 1957, in Dunnington; he preceded her in death March 30, 2007. Shirley was a proud homemaker & farm wife & had previously worked at Purdue University Library & Pronger's Restaurant, in Kentland. She was a very active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church & St. Mary's Rosary Sodality. She had a very strong Catholic faith. Shirley loved spending time with her family & adored her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening & canning her produce.
Shirley is survived by 2 Daughters, Angie (Jim) Schneidt & Geralyn (Tim) Bird, Son, Jim (Sandy) Farrell, 5 Grandchildren, Jen (Joe) Giesige, Mindi (Ryan) Roberson, Lauren (Ben) Gudorf, Kara (Chase) Stacy & Kyle Bird, 9 Great-Grandchildren, Kennedy & Brynnley Giesige, Brayden Roberson, Emma, Maggie & Boomer Gudorf & Remi, Halle & Cameron Stacy & 2 Sister-in-Laws, Marge Farrell & Jane Lyons. She is preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Bernadette Flook & Lois Massinon & a Brother, Dale Wetli.
Visitation will be, Monday, August 26, 2024, from 10 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2960 S. State Road 71, Fowler, IN, with Father Sean Aaron officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunnington. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunnington & mailed to Mark Flook, 1616 South 600 West, Fowler, IN 47944. Shirley's family would like to thank Cumberland Pointe Health Campus & especially Jim Watkins, for her care.
