At the corners of the Mercer County Courthouse are colorful pinwheel flowers that are named The Promise Garden. The garden is a part of the Alzheimer's Association Northwest Ohio Chapter's Paint the Town Purple campaign that hopes to raise awareness of the disease and recognize those living with it.
