Joan Jackson
Joan Lee Jackson, age 94 of Celina, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at her residence in Celina.
She was born on January 19, 1930 to the late Russell Edwin and Viola G. (Sickinger) McCullough in Uhrichsville. On July 12, 1950, she married the love of her life Jack L. Jackson, who passed away on July 3, 2022.
She is survived by her loving children Rodger L. (Maryann) Jackson of Aurora, Michael D. (Joyce) Jackson of Ostrander, Jacquelyn A. (Michael) Mertz of Celina, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles W. McCullough, and sister M. Virginia Strader.
Joan graduated from Uhrichsville High School with the class of 1947. She worked some years at JC Penny's and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Celina and the Auglaize Mercer YMCA.
Private Family Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home. Burial will follow on Monday, October 7, 2024 in the Evergreen Burial Park Cemetery in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
